All we can say about this fresh crop Ethiopian Coffee is YES! This is a Grade 1 washed coffee produced from the well praised Deri Kochoha Washing Station located in the Sidamo region of Ethiopia. The station uses a traditional disc pulper to remove the coffee cherry after harvesting.
The beans are then soaked and agitated for 72 hours underwater in a fermentation tank to break down the remaining mucilage. Once all the mucilage is removed the beans are washed overnight in a clean water bath and finally taken out to dry in raised beds. The result is a delicate cup filled with lime zest, fresh hops, incredible sweetness and finishes with a big juicy body.
