Organic Guatemala Codech
This variant is currently sold out
This wonderful coffee from the Huehuetenango region in Guatemala was produced by the Codech Cooperative. From the beginning, Codech's goal has been to represent positive change and support for the social, political, economic, environmental and cultural interests of the region. In 2004 Codech partnered with Intermon Oxfam to receive funding for a project that focused on sustainable coffee growing efforts with-in the region. Smaller producers now have the resources to grow and market both Fairtrade and Organic coffee and to receive premiums for their coffees being sold.
The coffee being produced in Codech is a great example of a classic Huehuetenango profile. Expect notes of bright raspberry, dark chocolate and a long pleasing finish.
