This coffee is a nod to our local beach community (Quonochontaug) located at our original Dave's Coffee bar.
Our Papua New Guinea coffee offers a unique flavor profile that coffee lovers can't resist. Sourced from the lush highlands of Papua New Guinea, this coffee boasts a rich, full-bodied taste with notes of caramel and chocolate, accented by a subtle nutty finish.
The single origin Papua New Guinea makes for a crowd-pleasing coffee. It makes a fantastic drip coffee and a fresh iced.
The story of coffee in Papua New Guinea is unlike any other origin. Roads are often nonexistent, communities are incredibly remote, and most coffee is grown casually in gardens alongside a family’s food supply. In fact, 99 percent of coffee is grown by individuals with an average farm size of .83 hectares and an average production of 10 bags per year.
Without access to mills, these producers pulp, ferment, wash and dry their own coffee, selling small volumes of parchment. Additionally, due to the extreme lack of access, coffee often makes it to exporters through roadside collections or aggregator pickups. This means the large lots of coffee we see exported are in fact the accumulation of many, untraceable micro-volumes which have been combined for processing.
Small bits of stone or concrete may be found in patio dried coffee. Check carefully to avoid damage to grinders.

Before seeing Dave's Original Rhode Island Coffee Syrup on Weekends With Yankee (PBS show), we had never heard of Dave’s Coffee, and coffee syrup in general. So we ordered some and it’s amazing and wonderful! While we have some artisan coffee roasters here in south central PA, I think we’ll try some of the beans also.
a friend from colorado visited and I took him to rhode island, introduced him to the wonders of rhode island cuisine and shamelessly turned him into a coffee milk addict. Now he'll probably never be properly decaffeinated but at least he can enjoy quality coffee milk off in the wilds of colorado, thanks to your special online ordering feature. Happy Holiday's to the coffee elves at Dave's !

I love Dave’s coffee!
I like the ease of shopping online, scheduling my deliveries, purchasing swag with my name on it, and of course - the coffee!
Thanks!
Dave
Most wonderful feeling is a warm cup of Blind Pig and a warm knit beanie on a cool pre-fall morning.
Makes everything feel normal in these bizarre days…..

Loving Dave’s Coffee in SC
We tried Dave’s Coffee at a cafe in CT while visiting our daughter. We loved the deep chocolaty notes without any bitterness. We are now on our second 5 lb bag, this time the low acid coffee, as we live on our sailboat and sometimes get seasick when drinking high acid coffee. The decaf is the best decaf we’ve had and love the decaffeination process. Thank you for the great product and excellent service.
