Coffee Story:

Black Crow was one of our first coffees and a staple dark roast at our espresso bars.

Indulge in the bold and rich flavor of Papua New Guinea dark roast coffee. Our premium selection of beans from the Pacific Island nation is roasted to perfection, providing a full-bodied taste with hints of chocolate and nutty, smoky undertones.

Roast level is the darkest we go on any of our coffees bringing out a big, bold body and lots of smooth, smoky notes without any bitterness.

Small bits of stone or concrete may be found in patio dried coffee. Check carefully to avoid damage to grinders.

You don't listen

I specifically ordered three (3) coffees per month. You ship four ignoring me.

Hi John,

There are actually four coffees on your subscription: Spray Rock, Blind Pig, Black Crow, and Power Wagon. This is what you originally ordered back in March. Please note that you can edit the number of bags and make any other changes on your account page. I hope this helps! You can send an email to orders@davescoffee.com if you have any questions.

Love it

Very drinkable, not too strong that it makes you jittery. Flavor very nice!

At this point, pretty much the only coffee we drink.

I'm not sure if it's good or bad that we ever tried this coffee. Rich, smokey, and complex with low acidity without tasting excessively burnt or bitter. We are now so used to it that any other coffee immediately tastes weird to us. I've given it to other people who like darker brews and they all have had the same experience. Darn you, Dave's Coffee.

Dave's Black Crow Coffee - Legendary

Going back a bit to 1997, I spotted this WW II Dodge Power Wagon Ambulance sitting on a rocky outcrop on the southbound side of US 1 in Charlestown RI. proudly proclaiming the HQ of Dave's Coffee. Little did I realize at the time but I had stumbled upon Coffee Nirvana and the Black Crow was my tour guide ! Since that time I had the opportunity to stop by several times a year. To grab a coffee and take back home (Bucks County PA at the time) some Coffee syrup and Whole Bean goodies. While I would sometimes change up and go for a Quonnie or Blind Pig, I found that the Black Crow was my coffee spirit bird. Sincerely Thanks Dave. Oh and BTW the Power Wagon is a solid back-up to the Black Crow ! (Good to have a solid plan B).

I mixed it equally with Blind Pig coffee and it was very good
