A very good mild, yet robust coffee. A good way to start my day. The only detractor being, I would liked to have fresher beans. Less dry, a bit more oiler for fresh roasted small batch coffee. Other than that, I will more than likely order again.
I really enjoy this coffee. Very pleasing.
Hi Emilio, We’re glad Paper Tiger hit the spot. It’s one of our favorite decafs for a reason—full flavor without missing a beat. - Your Friends at Dave’s Coffee
I was gifted a bag of Dave’s “Fireside“ coffee which led me to purchase online a bag of Dave’s Quonnie (Papua New Guinea). I’m enjoying both but honestly haven’t found Nirvana. I’m impressed with Café Grumpy‘s Momentum, and Stumptown’s single origin Colombian. Have even found TJ’s single origin Rwanda quite nice. But the search continues… I am a chocolatey, Natti, Cedar in Carmel seeker, and can do without citrus and fruit forward.
Hi James, Thanks for taking Fireside and Quonnie for a spin! We love hearing from fellow coffee enthusiasts, especially those on the hunt for that perfect cup. Based on the flavor notes you described, Power Wagon and Spray Rock sound like they might be right up your alley—both are smooth, low-acid coffees with plenty of cocoa and cedar character.
