NOTE: we had thought when we bought this press that it was the large (like we already have) so a little disappointment there... anyway, these presses are the best for anyone who likes REAL coffee flavor!
When Bodum took over a small clarinet factory in Normandy in 1982, it was not because of the fine orchestra clarinets they were producing but because of a relatively unknown coffee maker called the Chambord which they produced as well.

Over the last half-decade or so I have had the good fortune to travel the globe. With this has come the great pleasure of tasting some of the finest coffees the world has to offer. From Asia, through the Americas to Europe, coffee is cultivate, curated, roasted, brewed and celebrated in major meccas and corner cafes. Dave's is a precious gem hiding among countless small-batch roasters. Fireside is a wonderful roast that that holds it's own against my favorite single estate Kona, or Blue Mountain variants... Their Costa Rica roast showed me unicorns still exist... My sincere gratitude to everyone at Dave's and to the dear friend who sent me the first bag.

I am very much enjoying the syrup. I use it to flavor my homemade kefir, and it's like drinking a coffee shake! Also use it with almond milk, and it's delicious. Will be trying it on ice cream next, which I'm sure will be great!
