Great tasting coffee. Love my Dave's experience.

Coffee and beanie

Sent my family coffee and a beanie. They split the coffee amongst them as grown kids have their own homes. Everyone loves Dave's inn the summer when the family stays and Burlingame ava then goes to Misquammicut. This was a Christmas winner

Perfection.

I have purchased this coffee so many times! In person, and before online. Dave’s is one of my favorite coffee shops when I’m in Rhode Island (CT resident). This year I gifted black crow to my uncle, after getting my father hooked on it too! It is now a family favorite. The smell and taste are simply incredible, and just thinking about Dave’s makes me think of sunny days and beach weather. Thank you Dave for an incredible product!

Best coffee out there.

While I love Black Crow, I do think Flying Pig is the best one in my opinion. Dave's Coffee is amazing...I want to try them all. I reached out to Dave directly to find out what roast the Ocean House in Watch Hill serves and he made sure my order was perfect. He and his team are incredible.

Black Crow is one of Dave's Coffees I've been returning to because it's just so... perfect! It's delicious and strong, yet never overpowering - it begins my day just right and as long as Dave's keeping making it... I'll keep drinking it!

The perfect cup of coffee

I usually grind my own beans by hand but I was feeling lazy so I ordered this ground for my chemex and it is absolutely perfect. These beans make a truly velvety delicious cup of coffee!

Black Crow Killer - Strong and Smooth, Not Bitter!

I tried Dave’s coffee for the first time after my niece gave me some different flavors to try. She knows I love my coffee and after the third try, I’m hooked on the black crow. I love dark coffee, but some darks are just stronger and not always more flavorful, sometimes too bitter.
I’m always on the lookout and trying different brands I was blown away by the black crow. Dark, strong and wonderfully smooth flavor.
I am hooked!
I ordered a couple syrups to try as well. Maple Pumpkin is great in coffee and on pancakes. Sweet, so just be aware.
I’m looking forward to trying the Pumpkin and the Hibiscus Lavender for baking and specialty cocktail drinks. The hibiscus could be a very nice addition to tea as well. I’ll be giving that a try soon as it’s just about tea weather.

Black crow

Spent 4 days in Providence. Walked to Daves Coffee every morning for a large Black Crow with a splash of cream. I usually need a little sweetener in my morning coffee, but with Black Crow I did not. While I was still in Providence I ordered Black Crow and sent it to my oldest son, who also loves coffee. He loved it as much as I did. He even canceled his Bean Box subscription to start ordering Black Crow from Daves Coffee.

Delightful French Roast

While it’s always worth the hour long trip to Dave’s in Charlestown for cappuccino and Black Crow French Roast beans, having those beans shipped to my door is wonderful! Our afternoon is always complete when we enjoy it!

Coffee Story:

Black Crow was one of our first coffees and a staple dark roast at our espresso bars.

Indulge in the bold and rich flavor of Papua New Guinea dark roast coffee. Our premium selection of beans from the Pacific Island nation is roasted to perfection, providing a full-bodied taste with hints of chocolate and nutty, smoky undertones.

Roast level is the darkest we go on any of our coffees bringing out a big, bold body and lots of smooth, smoky notes without any bitterness.

The story of coffee in Papua New Guinea is unlike any other origin. Roads are often nonexistent, communities are incredibly remote, and most coffee is grown casually in gardens alongside a family’s food supply. In fact, 99 percent of coffee is grown by individuals with an average farm size of .83 hectares and an average production of 10 bags per year.

Without access to mills, these producers pulp, ferment, wash and dry their own coffee, selling small volumes of parchment. Additionally, due to the extreme lack of access, coffee often makes it to exporters through roadside collections or aggregator pickups. This means the large lots of coffee we see exported are in fact the accumulation of many, untraceable micro-volumes which have been combined for processing.

Small bits of stone or concrete may be found in patio dried coffee. Check carefully to avoid damage to grinders.
